Bullard -Graveside Services for Billy Fred Ramey, age 80, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Muse Cemetery, with Thomas Wagner officiating, under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home & Covenant Cremations.

Mr. Ramey died Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Tyler. He was born in Grapeland, TX on July 1, 1932, to the late Charles and Mary Ramey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Ramey, his brother, Leo Ramey and sisters Wanda Sarles and Pat Broadway.

Mr. Waters is survived by his son and daughter in law, Randy and Kathy Ramey of Bullard, grandchildren; Sabrina and Tabitha Ramey, and a sister, June Felts of Houston

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home & Covenant Cremations, Bullard.

A graveside service for Donald Lee Oldham, 80, of Noonday is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2013, at Hawthorne Cemetery in Noonday with Pastor Roy Thoene of First Baptist Church, Gresham officiating under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Tyler.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and O.B. Oldham; and sisters Sandy Oldham, Martha Layne and June Mitchell
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie Oldham, of Tyler; sons, Tony Oldham, of Springdale, Arkansas and Ricky Oldham; grandchildren, Winter Oldham Roberts, of Tyler and Lauren Oldham Hobbs, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; great-grandchildren, Caroline and Trip Roberts, of Tyler; sisters Wanda Nan Spears, of Noonday and Birdie Jean Cooley of Woodville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Osebelia ”Billie” Boone Beard will be celebrated by Msgr. John Flynn at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Flint, Tx on Monday, May 13 at 11:00 AM. May she rest in peace. The Rosary will be at 6:00 PM on Sunday night at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard Tx.

Mrs. Beard was born April 1, 1934 in Rio Grande City, TX to the late Apolonia and Luisa Peña. She is preceded in death by her brothers Apolonio Peña Jr. and Rene Emilo Peña.

Mrs. Beard is survived by her Husband Winfred Beard of Bullard. Sons Herbert Berry Boone, Kenneth Ray Boone and Alan Dale Boone. Daughters Martha Boone Juarez and Theresa Mae Ruff. Seven Grandchildren and Fourteen great grandchildren.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 5:00- 6:00 PM on Sunday night at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard Tx.

Amy Elizabeth Torres, age 38, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Mixon. Amy was born January 8th, 1975 in Tyler. She is a graduate of Troup High School and was employed at Walmart in Jacksonville. Amy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. She had an enormous passion for horses, but her greatest love of all was her son, Austin.

Amy is survived by her son, Austin Taylor Torres, her mother and stepfather Eugenia and Michael Bender of Troup, father and stepmother Clell and Barbara Benton of Wells, sisters Alysha and Cody Castagno of Flint, Niki Benton of Wells, stepsisters Kristin Gilbert of Conroe, Krista and James Crane of Jacksonville, Lauren and Andrew Smith of Jacksonville, stepbrother Spencer Gilbert of Wells and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Mixon.

Burial will follow at the Mixon Cemetery and fellowship at Taylor’s Chapel Community Center.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ray, John Glenn Ray, Cody Castagno, John Allen, Robert Johnson and Dustin Ray.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard.

Hudnal Herschel Hanson, 80, of Neches Texas passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center in Palestine.
Hudnal ’Hud’ was born February 2, 1933 in Edom, Texas and was the ninth of nine children of Anna Eugenia (Wideman) and Clyde Joseph Hanson Sr.
Mr Hanson retired from TU Electric in 1989 with 34 years of service. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church, Chandler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters, Katherine, Louise, Berta, Neta and brothers, J.C. Jr., and Herman.
Mr Hanson is survived by his wife, Sybil; children, Debbie and Robert Tisdale of Wills Point, Lisa and Dan Baily of Wills Point, Linda Madden of Arlington, Cyndee Britten of Palestine and Marsha Britten of Nashville TN; Grandchildren, Leslie Malone and Eddie Black, Hudnal Tisdale and Fiancée Lacy Brundidge, Justin Baily, Jaci Bailey and Fiancée Wesley James, Erin Penny and Erica Madden; Great-grandchildren, Reagan Malone, Garrett Black and Chelsea Black; Sister Doyce and Charles Dillon of Dallas.
Visitation will be held Friday March 22, 6-8 pm at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard and a Memorial Service Saturday, March 23. 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Neches. Private graveside service will be held at a later date at Concord Cemetery in Chandler.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Tommy Graham, Dob Graham, Jimmy Sparks, Joe Sparks, Mark Dillon, and in memoriam, Gary Hanson.
His special friend was Trixie, the family dog.
